Art in isolation

Blank Walls - May 30, 2020 - 0 comments

The world is going through some pretty testing times at the moment, especially for artists. The outbreak of COVID-19 has put a halt on any major public exhibitions or events which were scheduled in 2020. With a lot of the world in lockdown, having to self-isolate for days, if not weeks on end, it’s pretty cool to see what people are coming up with across the globe to support the workers going through such a hectic time! Check out this piece in NYC which was designed by Tristan Eaton.

Painting can act as a powerful form of meditation and stress relief. Put the headphones in, grab some paint and some brushes and see what happens. There is no right or wrong when it comes to art. It’s about the freedom of expression, thought and creativity that allows us to be unique.

It’s amazing to see hashtags like #isolateandcreate trending online and people all over the world coming up with some really cool things! Shout out to @kzamone for the tree wrap below!

There’s no doubt in our mind, when this is all over, we’re going to see some amazing pieces of art appear throughout the cities of the world. We’re looking forward to getting back outside and painting some big blank walls with everyone soon!

Keep Safe.
